<p>Hey, I have an essay I plan on submitting Friday to my counselor with a scholarship application that is about 3/4 complete but lacking a conclusion. I've already run it by my ap lit teacher but I'd appreciate it if I could pm it to someone here for further feedback.</p>
<p>The question is: Write a brief essay (750 words) focusing on one OR two of your principal intellectial interests ... try to give a sense of how these interests enhance your life and hwo they relate to your other interests or activities. </p>
<p>Besides fixing the conclusion, I'm currently working to elaborate on my interest in learning languages and in theatre (i.e. discussing more specific works of theatre). in the 3rd and 4th paragraphsin it by roughly 200 words to meet the recommended length. I'm also considering adding a paragraph I already have written on my interest in painting/drawing and art, if I can determine how to incoroporate it smoothly and remain cohesive.</p>
<p>My main concern right now is whether I'm really addressing the prompt closely enough by focusing so much in p. 1 on a specific event rather than a broader view of my participation in the activity and if the use of humor is appropriately placed. (I already know that I need to tighten and proofread, though if you see any glaring issues, any comments are welcome).</p>
