<p>I'm not quite understanding how the essay is going to be uploaded. Are we typing in a box on the site, or are we uploading a .rtf? If the latter, how are they going to enforce the 650 word limit? </p>
<p>Also, spacing? Double, single, 1.5? What size font?</p>
<p>For mines, I just typed it like a normal paper/essay. 12 pt font, times new roman, and double spaced and attached the .rtf</p>

<p>Actually, the new Common App does it differently from previous years. You’ll have to type in the box provided or cut-and-paste from the word processor. The number of words will be counted as you type, and so will be enforced. <p>I don’t know if anyone knows this but what about special symbols? Like the accent on naive or something? I feel they would be illegible after being processed through the system…</p>
