<p>Would any current Cornellies like to read my short essays? I'd liek tohave their input beause they need to be very good- I'm competing against the valedictorian, a supersmart 4th in my class, and another really smart kid with a better GPA/class rank than me. I have the first and second beat on SAT scores (I believe), but I know they essay will probably make/break my chances.</p>

<p>I'd love to PM it to a current Cornellie (that way noone steals it and I get quality advice from someone who already wrote a successful one)</p>

<p>your joking right? okay good, just checking. who in the right mind is going to ask to read an essay, and then critique it. just post the darn thing. id be surprised to know anyone nice enough who has the time to request to critique your essay. good one</p>

<p>I'm not comfortable posting it and I noticed that some people have actually volunteered to critique an essay via PM, so I thought I might as well give it a chance and ask. There actually are some kind people on this earth...they're not all cynnical.</p>
