Essay help!

Hi everyone,
I am applying to Lehigh University early decision, and I need some help on my essay. The prompt is "What unique aspect of Lehigh interests you the most?" I am a little below average compared to the rest of the applicants and so I really need a good essay...I don't know if I should include that I was part of the first high school level supply chain class ever or if that would distract...I just want to make a strong argument!
..ps this is just a rough draft, I haven't proofread yet, but feel free to :)

For me, finding colleges was like solving an extremely difficult, multi-step mathematical equation. For each of the colleges that I visited, one of the variables in my extremely difficult mathematical equation just didn’t fit right. That was, until I came across Lehigh University. I knew that I had found the college of my dreams when narrowing it down to one unique aspect proved to be nearly impossible. I could write about the amazing community service program Lehigh senior, Natalya spoke with me about, or the low student to teacher ratio. I could write about the clubs, or the sports teams, the homely atmosphere, or the awesome fact that it is built on the side of a mountain. But what really impressed me the most was the individuality that Lehigh encourages for its students. Students are not just put into a major and required to take certain classes and not others that they are interested in. This is what set Lehigh apart from the rest of the schools in my mind. It is quite rare for a school the size of Lehigh to have a supply chain management program but to also be ranked in the top twenty five programs in the country is almost unheard of, believe me, I’ve looked far and wide. Not only do they have a great supply chain management program but Lehigh offers classes in sustainability and economics. Supply chain management and sustainability classes would be a dynamic duo in today’s struggle to provide eco-friendly alternatives for the future. By being able to broaden my field of knowledge, I could make a huge impact on the world. I would truly give anything to be involved in such a great program and college like Lehigh.

A few things to consider adding:

1) why are you so interested in supply chain mgt.
2) schools know that students change their major all the time: why would Lehigh be a good fit for you (in clase you decide the major isn’t what you’d hoped/expected)
3) what do you have to offer Lehigh? Why you and not the other kid who also wants to do this major?
4) Ask yourself: Could anyone else have written this essay? If the answer is ‘yes,’ then your essay is too generic. Try adding some concrete detail that only you could supply.

If you have answered these questions in other essays, you don’t need to repeat - but remember to think about your application as an integrated whole. What picture does it present as to who you are and what you have to offer.

By the way, probably best not to post your essays on a forum: The more personal and unique they are, the better the essays - and the more easily identifiable you are to others.
