Essay Help

I do not really understand the term "no longer than 120 eighty-character lines of text (including spaces and blank lines)."

With 7 character per word, and 1 character as "space", 120 x 80/8 = 1200. So, does this mean 1200 word per essay or something?

That sounds right. Use another program to type your essay and paste in the the field provided. It cuts off when the limit is met.

Isn’t that a bit huge for college essay? Most essays I wrote till now were about 500ish words. Or is that just the maximum limit? Do you know what the recommended size should be?

Isn’t that the limit? You can write less.

Good point :stuck_out_tongue: thank you!

One last thing, do you by any chance know the recommended size?

From everything I’ve read, around 500 words is the best size. They don’t want a giant paper, but they probably just include extra room for those who want it. But in their admissions, I’ve read they want it about 500 words, or a single page single spaced.
