I don't really know what to do for these three questions:

How have you taken advantage of the educational opportunities you have had to prepare for college?

Tell us about a talent, experience, contribution or personal quality you will bring to the University of California.

Is there anything you would like us to know about you or your academic record that you have not had the opportunity to describe elsewhere in this application?

Err...I don't think someone else's answer will help you write your essay...since you have to use examples based on your experience.

If I had to write those essays, I would say:
1. Talk about how you've grown over the years in school: development, setbacks, overcoming hardships --show that you can deal with a college atmosphere.

Talk about your passions...why did you choose to go this way/how does it define who you are --show the college what you're made of.

Self-Explanatory? If you got a bad grade or something similar, explain it here, but never whine! Or you want to explain something in detail about your extra-curriculars that you couldn't write on the small extra-curricular space line. This really isn't an essay is it?

Thank you so much. You've helped me actually get going.
