<p>do u think I should spend some time describing the character’s role in the novel (its a very popular character, anyone that went to school in the USA should know him)…or should I just get to how he influenced me?</p>

1) Describe a character in literature
2) illustrate how this character has influenced you
But I would devote most of the paper to how this character has influenced you, especially if the character is not particuarly obscure. I'll take a look at it when you are done if you want :) Good luck!</p>

<p>anyways, both of my essays deal with a similar point (though they are significantly different essays)...do u think it will matter?</p>
