Essay Idea for Vanderbilt. HELP???

<p>I am considering applying to Vanderbilt to study business and have an essay idea. I would appreciate feedback on whether or not this would be a good idea. </p>

<p>I am an entrepreneur and I run a rather successful clothing business. I plan on writing about my experiences and successes as an entrepreneur and how I will utilize Vanderbilt's educational resources to broaden my knowledge of business to in turn lead my business to be even more successful. </p>

<p>Would this be a good idea or should I do something different?</p>

<p>I think that is a good idea to focus on. Running a clothing business is impressive and I have heard that universities want you to discuss how your extracurricular activities helped you and how you applied the skills you learned from the experience (as you said “how I will utilize Vanderbilt’s educational resources to broaden my knowledge of business”). </p>
