<p>Well i wrote about 5400 characters. I am able to format it, by messing with the margins and chnaging the font and what not to make it fit for the online applicaion. Would this be okay or am i going to have to cut up my essay and make it no more than 5100 characters?</p>
<p>i suggest you make it at most 5100. 5100 is already huge for an admissions essay (around 900 words). It is the maximum that they would accept.</p>

<p>I do think you should cut it down because that's an awful lot of words. However, because you're doing a paper application (I'm assuming), I'm sure a hundred characters over would be okay.</p>
