Essay length is restricting me!

My essays are about 300 words in length and i really don't want to shorten them b/c they'll lose their meaning.

Will my app be frowned upon b/c my essays are too long?

I had the same problem, also opened the same thread before:)
what I learned from the thread+my researches is briefly;
-they don’t care if you pass the limit little
-they won’t like it when you pass it too much
*You can always send an additional essay or essays on paper,(thanks to Molliebatmit)

you better don’t pass it too much

Ok, so i don’t think going 30-50 words over is too bad.

Will mollie read our essays and critique them? (Hopes)

I have a policy of not reading essays – I don’t have time to read them all (being a fourth-year graduate student will do that for you), and I don’t think it’s fair to read some. So I don’t read any.

If your essay is engaging I don’t think they will mind the extra 50 words. The question I would ask myslef is are all these words necessary to show myself in the best light, can I cut out a sentence (or words) here or there that would not be missed.

It takes skill to write within a word limit. Demonstrate that you have the ability to write with both flair and precision.

i know this is not my thread
but just to confirm
there is a total of 5 short answers 3 of which are 100-150 and two of which are 200-250 right?
