<p>I can see everyone is getting punchy as deadlines approach. For the OP, the general guideline is around 500 words, and honestly I can't see spacing is something anyone should be worrying about! The admissions office is not waiting to pounce on some trivially different interpretations of non-existent rules to disqualify people... but that tree branding now, that may be something they would do... :)</p>
<p>My essay is 750 words. Single spaced, it's about a page. I think that's okay--yes?</p>
