Hey i was just wondering if it is looked down upon if the ssay is longer than one page. I remember from the tour that someone said they can get 1.5-2 pages, but I dont know if thats advisable. Mines currently at 1.5 pages. SHould i cut some stuff out and make it 1 page or can i leave it?

if by one page, does that mean both the front and the back of that same page? think about it...

My Why Penn essay is currently 750 words. I know I can tweak the margins and fonts to make it 1 page but I dont want to do it so much so that it'll be weird for the adcoms to read.

Do adcoms generally have a preference regarding margins or fonts? Is tweaking them a very common practice?

Lastly, does anyone have any tweaking tips =)

Oh, and also, do you guys think 10 font sized arial is too hard to read? It's 1.5 spaced.

when i called them, they said that there's no real limit, but they'd like you to keep it to one page, no smaller than 10 pt font. if it goes a little bit over, that's ok. i also tweaked the margins a bit, lol, and i'm sure i'm not the only one.
