<p>Would adcoms care much if my first essay is a bit long? I have it at 1100 words and if i trim it down, I think i'll get down to 900 words. Would this still be too long? Would adcoms not like it?</p>
<p>Basically, should I forcefully cut down the essay size and take out some parts of an experience.</p>

<p>Since there is no official word count, you can present your essay at any length. It is your choice if you want to trim your essay's size. Make sure though if you are going to have a long essay, that everything in the essay is essential.</p>
