My essay is running longer than the suggested length. Will applyTexas cut off the part that is in excess ?
Is it a suggested length or a required maximum length?
This is from their website:
“ApplyTexas recommends that you keep your essay to between 500 and 750 words in length”.
Then I would not go too far over. I mean, 760 might be fine but not 850.

A good writer can get their point across in less than 750 words and most like to see closer to 500. Go back and edit extra words that are irrelevant or unnecessary to make a point. Be concise. No need to be flowery. You want to stand out but not by writing a fluff piece.
