Okay, so i was reading some essays that got into harvard and there were like 1000 words long. Not i have written a 844 ish word essay.........but have heard that 500 is the limit? Does it say anywhere on that? I feel like if it doesn't say, its kind of lame that they would be ****ed u wrote a longer essay? Anyone know if there is a limit?

Uhh.. the admissions officer isn't going to count the number of words in your essay. As long as it does not take them 30 minutes (or, in the other extreme, 30 seconds) to read your work, you'll be ok. ~2 pages should be fine.

844ish won't get you rejected BUT i would DEFINITELY work on trimming it down to at least 700.

2 pages single spaced or double? I tried to trim, i really cant....... but it seems like a quick read, and not dull. U can read it and tell me what u think if u want

I'll read it and see if it can be trimmed; just PM it to me.

500 is the standard, I think. Read in some book with essays graded by the Crimson staff and they said upwards of 800 is too long.

Send it to me too! I'd like to have a read.
