Essay +MC in WR

<p>Im striving for an 800 in writing, but I've always gotten 8s on the essay. If I get perfect MC and an essay of 8, will my total be 800? If not, then any idea what it'd be? I've always done the same thing on the essay: 2 examples, good vocab...but I never finish the two pages. I got a 10 on ACTs Essay by finishing both pages and also using personal examples apart from lit/hist (still just two examples) but I'm afraid to change my schematic and do even worse on SATs essay? I'm not sure of being so personal is recommended for SAT unless its amazing. </p>

<p>Thanks, and btw I've read "How to write a 12 essay in 10 days" didn't help.</p>

<p>To answer you’re first question an 80 MC score with an 8 essay would get you like a 780 or 790 most likely but you’re not going to get that 800 without at least a 9 unless the test is really hard.</p>

<p>80 MC right and an 8 on the essay got me a 760. A 10 and 80 MC right should guarantee you an 800.</p>
