<p>I was wondering if a college essay about how you see the world has to be about you? Or a college essay in general? My essay is about a mentally disabled boy I knew, and it's mostly about how I saw him and the way he lives life completely liberated. I don't talk about me too much, but I figured that my perceptions of him and my thoughts would show how I am better than talking about myself in the essay. Is this okay? Or does everyone write essays that somehow include a lot about themselves?</p>
