Nretni and akybaby, I think I already have enough opinions on my essay, but thanks, anyway.

A few students I knew from a few universities, such as Yale, Princeton, and the Univ. of Chicago went over my essay.

The opinion was unanimous: “Make your essay a story about yourself, instead of an essay with flat anecdotes here and there.”

Hopefully, I’ll finish the essays. I have a sore throat and I don’t feel good today.

^^ well i hope you feel better, and good luck to ya!!

Thanks.
Good luck to you to with your essays, too.

I’ve already finished most of the common app. The only part I didn’t finish was the essay portion.

What kind of essay is appropriate for the Harvard supplement?

A “why harvard?” Another personal essay? I realize that it’s pretty open-ended, but I’m curious how most people are approaching it.
