<p>Harvard has an optional "anything else?" essay, and one of their possible topics is a list of books read in the past year, but I would hardly call this an essay. Would it be bad if I sent a list of books (because I think this WOULD help me a little) AND another essay? Or is that going overboard and I should just pick one or the other?</p>
<p>Don't write another essay just for the sake of writing one. Write one if it reflects another piece of who you are that is not already reflected elsewhere in your application. Perhaps you might incorporate the importance of books in your life. Just a thought.</p>
<p>Onyl write an additional one if there is something extremely speciail that you feel it can bring across to the admissions staff.</p>
