Essay problem. I need some advices!!!

On the paper application, it says the essay need to be type in 10pt at least and does not exceed the space provide.
On the online application, you can type in as much as you want but there's a limit of 3800 characters.

Mine is somewhere around 1300 words and 7000 characters with spaces. I can fit it into the paper application (only like 4/5 a page), of course i have to adjust the page border so i wont look much beautiful.

I will have to trim it a little bit; if too much it's not gonna express what i want to say, and therefore, ruin the whole essay. What do you think is the best way for me? How about your essay?

If I remember, wasn’t the long essay supposed to be 500 words? And the short answers were 250. At the Tech presentation, they were really adamant that you not send them any more than they ask for. Read carefully and make sure you don’t make it too long. 1300 words does sound like a lot. But maybe I just forgot what they asked for. Hope I was helpful. Good Luck!

1300 words is way too much, i can guarantee you could cut out well over half of them.

thank you bandnerd91321 and atlhawks.
It’s true that they only ask for only 500 words. I’ll have no choice but cutting off half the essay. It’s so painful because I love my current essay so much.

Anyway, has anyone here tried essay edit service. Do you have any idea about such service as essay+egdeDOTcom?

Any of your English teachers would be more than willing to help you edit your essays. Even an AP History teacher would do well for you. Or your guidance counselor, if your high school has a good one. You don’t need to spend money for good advice that is free at your school. And your teachers know you, so they can keep it in perspective. Good Luck!

But bandnerd, it’s so scathing that I gave a copy of my essay to every single teacher in the English department but they’re helpless. My friends told me not to expect them putting any effort in such an unpaid job. And that’s true. Some didnt reply to me even when I had reminded them countless times. Some just did a cursory work that made my essay totally different. Maybe they’re too busy. On top of that, my school is such a small school that it doesnt have many outstanding teachers. The teacher that is responsible for my math club couldn’t even solve a simple calculus problem. So they blamed everything on me, cos I’m its president, when we lost at the Math tournament at Mercer University. It’s ridiculous, isn’t it? I respect my teachers. I just feel self-pity. If that’s my case, do you have any other advice?
