Hi, I'm on my mom's GA2012 screenname, and I was wondering if for the Princeton essay prompt, are we required to choose the "influential person" essay and then one of the quotation prompts, or is it permitted to do two quotation prompts? Thank you!

I'm going through the same process as you are.

But I believe it only asks for one of those essays. Either the influential person, or the quotation prompt.

Copied and pasted:
"In addition to the 500-word essay you have written for the Common Application, please select one of the following two themes and write an essay of about 300 words in response. Please do not repeat, in full or in part, the essay you wrote for the Common Application."

So you'd only be doing one of the ones you mentioned.

You are permitted to do two quote prompts.

np's reply is good if you use the common application. But since you seem to use Princeton's application, I think you can do 2 quotes. They ask you to choose 2 essays from all the topics given, not one about a person and one from a quote.
