<p>Right now I'm working on my EA application for ND, and for the personal statement section, does anyone know if the 400-500 word limit on the essay is very strict? I just finished my essay and am pretty satisfied with it, but it's about 620 words. I'm just a bit worried, so any help answering this would be great. </p>

<p>No worries, I have never known them to count words. Try to tighten it up a bit if you can, but they aren't going to throw your application out if you are a few words over.</p>
<p>Lol, I think mine was longer than that. As long as its well-written enough to keep their interest through the extra 120 words, I wouldn't worry too much about it.</p>
<p>the rule of thumb is +- 15%. Try to get within that.</p>
