Essay Question....

If you go over the limit for how many words they want in an essay, is it bad? One of my essays I feel is very good, however, it goes over the limit by 50 words. Would this look bad if I submitted it? I feel that if I try to elimiate parts of the essay, it will be weaker.

don't worry about the word limit. But do minimize as much as possible, given that you have said what you needed to say.

I know plenty of people who wrote way over the word limit and had no problems. If the essay is good - admission is willing to read it - especially if its telling them why you want to transfer.

Depends on the word limit in the first place. 50 words over 600 isn't a big deal. 50 over 150 is.

I exceeded limits on each question on every application. Don't worry.
