Essay Question

I have been practicing my essays, with numerous topics, but regardless of how fast I write I never write two full pages. I get to about 1.6 pages and then time runs out.
How do you guys do it?

hOW to ace the writing section

Do an intro, MAKE UP 3 examples, do a conclusion.

Example: Topic= Is freedom always the best for everyone.

Intro- use up space repeating the question, say no

ex 1- My sister at Brown was given too much freedom and she felt stressed out because she didn't know what classes to take because of the open curriculum

ex 2-In the book Jacky Brown, a girl Jacky Brown likes being a servant because she feels being in the real world and having to make her own choices is too much pressure

ex 3- My brother was forced to take science class, which he wouldn't have done on his own (he wanted to do football instead), but he ended up loving it and discovering a cure for a deadly disease that saved many lives.

conclusion- restate your examples.

EASY HUH? DIDN'T THAT HELP?

remember, MAKE UP EXAMPLES FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE!!!! Did that help?

Wow, kinda getting old now...

Use 2-3 mins to come up with your thesis and 2 examples. Know what you are going to talk about. Also, come up with pre-made transitions and sentences that you will use every time.

Also, write at a reasonable size if your handwriting is too small. Other than that, I guess if you know what you are talking about then you can write at like 100mph or something. Don't erase, but cross out words that you don't need (it adds to your length) and just practice.

thanks man. much appreciated.

one weird thing is that it me longer to write in big letters than my normal handwriting, which is not small, but really compact and skinny. LOL
