Essay question

<p>I know that the applicant has to be admitted to the undergraduate university first, and then the application is sent off to the medical school for admissions. </p>

<p>Does the medical school look at the essays we wrote for the undergraduate school? Or do they focus on just their essay: why do you want to be a doctor?,etc?</p>

<p>no..medical schools have their own essays..they don't look at the ones you wrote for your undergraduate college</p>

<p>wrong, some do have your UG essays on file. ucsd med scholars does.</p>

<p>that being said, i dont think it really has any weight either.</p>
