essay question...

i had the one about memories... so i used several off examples

not really about a memory, but the fact that hitler forgot about napoleon and was fixated on stalingrad... kinda off topic, but i showed how his suppression of previous beliefs led to his downfall... does this even work?

i also talked about the people getting caught up in the bull market of 2000... and forgetting about the previous crash in 88, once again leading to downfall...

then i said something else that had to do with me... kinda forget what i wrote...

do the first 2 even work? i know they're not "personal memories" but they are memories and beliefs that society held, or at least were aware of...

opinions?

Wow. So many people used Hitler examples.

fck.

i used hitler and napoleon and bush and iraq and vietnam and lbj and ****.

i thought my essay was good.

hhhm. who else used hitler examples? it can't be that many. oh well.

geez... i wanted to know if they were acceptable... not how many people did them... lol

plus how many people talked about the recession... looks around room that's right, just me

prolly not many. i dont think my other example wqas used much.

in any case, as long as you have strong quotations and support, it should be fine. if you fill both pages, you should get around a 12

lol, all of my friends used holocaust examples too, we just read Night. I was gonna use Napoleon/Hitler but I forgot the name Stalingrad...so I used Woodrow Wilson and the Treaty of Versailles/history repeats as WWII. It's a stretch, but at least it's kinda unique...I thought this was a cool topic.

but honestly... if i were to apply to say wharton... i bet they'd find it unique that a 17 year old would talk about economics in an essay on memories
