Essay Question

Is it ok to qualify a prompt?

Lets say the prompt is "Do you believe that technological advances are detrimental to society?..."

Is it ok to write a body paragraph on why they are good and another on why they are bad but then also inform the reader as to why both are possible? Or are you only allowed to take one side for the entire essay?

you should only take one side and strengthen your point of view by strongly approved examples

Ok thanks!

You’re allowed to take a middle position. Do whatever you feel you can PROVE best of all. Your actual opinion doesn’t really matter. However, I’d generally advise you to take one side.
