Essay Reading for Admission

<p>do the admissions office read the two Community Essay, and the Why this major essay together?? or is it read separately?</p>

<p>Also, how are the essays read, are they qualified objectively, is there a matrix?</p>

Applications are read as complete applications at the same time, so yes the essays are read together. </p>

Essays are read by the Admissions staff and are reviewed in all manners, objectively / subjectively / critically / etc. How do you read an essay in a matrix?</p>

<p>Human Admissions counselors review the essays while reviewing the entrie application. They provide a great level of context to the application review and are a very important factor is our holistic evaluations.</p>

<p>Haha, I think I meant rubric, and not matrix… I don’t know what got into me, maybe fatigue. </p>
