<p>I think that is too risky using examples from life. The graders are mostly highschool English teachers. Thus, citing classic literature is the best bet. Plus I dont think Grammatix is good for the writing sections.</p>
<p>I'd suggest citing examples from several things... definitely literature (memorize a few quotes from famous works before you go... general ones that you can stretch to fit almost any essay), things from history, science, etc. That's what I did.</p>
