i don't know if i should rewrite my common app essay on something completely different or what

my essay as it stands is a story about me as a preschooler wetting myself because i stayed in line waiting my turn for something

is that too "gross"? what kind of moral could i pull out of it? idk.. anything? this is like the fiftieth time i've tried to come up w/ a topic ahhh

The best ideas will come from you, since you know yourself way better than we do or ever will. Why do you remember this story? Maybe your relatives and friends can point out characteristics of the three-year-old (or whatever age you were) in this story that you have kept? That little kid grew up into the person you are now. If it doesn't relate to the person you are now, you should ditch it, whether the story is good or not. If it does, you should keep it but still add some recent stories to it, because you'll need to prove your point somehow. But I wouldn't add some lame summary at the end. That's bad.

unless you come up with some brilliant, relevant and insightful material to write about the time you wet yourself, I'd avoid the topic...shows immaturity on your part
