so i submitted my application and realized i'd written "...mental activity have..." instead of "...mental activity has..." in one of my essays
am i doomed?
should i try to contact an admissions counselor and tell them?

Just let it go. It will not make or break your application. It shows you're human, and that you did your essay yourself.

no mate i spoke to an admissions person when i attended Project Uplift and he told me they really don't care about grammatical errors unless you spelled Carolina wrong or wrote Duke instead of Carolina (on a lighter note)

keeeeeeewl

yeah mate and by the way good luck
