Essay topic for Columbia ED

Do you think its a good idea to just write the essay on my experiences as i transform from a shy kid to a more outgoing guy i'm now over several stages (school changes lead to different perspective) Though my main concern is that my high school experiences will only be a part of essay instead of the main focus. Should i do it?
