<p>I was thinking of writing about Scrubs for essay question 4 "Describe a character in fiction, a historical figure, or a creative work (as in art, music, science, etc.) that has had an influence on you, and explain that influence." Do you think that if I made the essay insightful and intelligible that higher tier colleges would like it; or do you think that writing about a TV show in general is bad idea?</p>
<p>No way should you drop it on the grounds that it’s a TV show - if you can make your essay deeply personal and insightful, it doesn’t matter what character you’re relating to. This could be an especially great chance to showcase your sense of humour.</p>
