<p>On the Your Choice app, they suggested 250-500. Mine was around 650 and I was accepted EA to Rose Hill. Hope that helps!</p>
<p>Mine was 874 and they accepted me to Rose Hill with a scholarship, so I think as long as you keep it under 1000 you’re ok.</p>

<p>I don’t think word count is too important, if you have a great GPA, SAT, ECs, etc., they’re not likely to reject you just because you’re 20 words over. As long as you’re not writing novel, you should be fine.</p>
