<p>Does anyone know of any essay writing contests and scholarships? I tried Google, and I found A LOT of results, so could anyone narrow the field down to a few - say - perhaps list the ones that you have participated in and won? Or ones that friends have participated in and won? I don't want to enter the first contest I see on Google because I know I'll be competing against 5 million other writers ... LOL.</p>
