essay

i was wondering if it is okay to write about only one intellectual interest. the essay questions asks for your "intellectual interests" but i find that i can't fully develop my ideas if i write about more than one interest

bump. i have to write this essay too.

i think interests means two or more, i wrote about two interests for mine (accepted ED), and the essay was two paragraphs long and i linked the interests/paragraphs together nicely, try to do at least 2 interests, 3 seems feasible, but any more than that seems like you would lose quality, i would say you shouldn't do 1 and shouldn't do 4 or more

I only wrote about one interest....well really the blending of two different interests into one...but I brought in a lot of other aspects of my life into the essay...and I got in ED...

I focused on a general area of interest, writing/language. I don't think they were looking for an in-depth history of everything you're interested in; what does that really tell them about you aside from that you like everything?

I got in ED, by the way, so I'm assuming I didn't write it too incorrectly.

hey to those who got in ED...did you stick to the 250 words limit? i am finding it very hard to do so...

Yeah...I found it pretty hard though. I ended up with 248 for the first essay and 247 for the second.

Thanx Tranorix..i ll keep that in mind.. Congratulations on getting in ED!

I only wrote about 1 and got in ED
