yo brand_182, if i were you i wouldn't send this to anyone...for the heck of it, i might as well just copy yours and apply to the same schools even if i don't even want to get into those schools :) just to screw you up

of course, i am not like that, but what if some people are like that?

brand - if you still need reviews, I'd be happy to look as I have enjoyed following your peregrinations through the transfer world.

I second the opinion expressed above that neither you, nor anyone, should share your essays with folks you aren't pretty d**n sure are not applicants. We're all anonymous in cyberspace, of course, but I would only share my essay with parents/kids you know have already transferred and are not in the game. Just MHO.

well brand, you can always trust me.
I pretty much sang for the past 6 monthes or so that the only schools I'll be applying to will be the UCs, and those are done two monthes ago.

Plus, I refuse to bother with out-of-state privates with horrible finaid (nyu, wustl, georgetown, etc) cuz money is a big issue for me. Plus it just takes way too much time to do another application process.

jslee - yeah, that would suck. I am kinda hoping most of the people on CC are honest, and I am familiar with many of the members that have offered to review it, so I'm not too terribly worried about it.

To be honest, this is the first admissions essay I've ever written, and while I like WashU (the school it is for), I won't be terribly devastated if I don't get in. However, you can rest assured that my Wesleyan essay won't be seen by many. ;) So for now I'm basically just wanting to see what people think of the way I approached the prompt (pretty standard) and my writing style.

And yeah, I'm not worried about jmmom. She's been there, done that. :D
