Does anyone know how to get 11+ in the essay? ACT's comment don't help at all in improving your essay, and even though I organized my essay, presented personal example, made arguments, I still got three 10s. Any help would be great.

whoa did you already get your essay score?

I got a 8. O well, i feel like who grades it has a HUGE impact on how you do.

blah, mine aren't on there.
oh well, i'm expecting an 8. i've gotten an 8 everytime on standardized tests...twice on the SAT and once on the ACT.

You guys are getting your essay scores and my multiple choice scores arent even up yet?

yah, same here, why arent my MC up yet!@!???

Maybe it was from a previous test date.

I got an 11 on my essay in June. I took one side of the issue, spent a paragraph explaining why the other side was wrong, spent a paragraph why my idea was right, and spent a paragraph proposing solutions based around the idea I supported.

I did the same thing on the October test. Not sure what my score will be, though.

So, how much does the essay score actually matter? I got a 35 English, 33 reading, and @!$%* 9 on the essay. Do colleges really care? Also, I got a 10 the last time, but my last composite score was lower...
