<p>i'm not sure...but probably not. i've heard that big public schools tend to skim/not really look at the essays-so if you didn't send one it won't neccesarily hurt you. pitt accepted me and i didn't send an essay, so i imagine penn state might do the same... oh, you could probably still send one if you wanted to-just write/send it asap</p>
