Essay!!!!!!

does anyone understand exactly what the essay question is talking about? Im having trouble understanding it because it is very vague and ambiguous. Please comment and help me out.

Write anything about YOURSELF!

It is kind of vague, which is why I had trouble at first when I typed my essay. But just write about anything that relates to you. Maybe you can talk about one of the activities you do. Maybe about a hobby. Maybe a memorable experience in life. It is all about you!

I basically wrote about my experience in marching band. I liked it... hopefully the admission board at Rutgers liked it too.

good luck :)

Just write about something unique. Express your qualities through it. I mean it's about diversity but whatever.

Personally...I wrote about how I grew up in America and losing everything about my culture...then how that all changed with one event that my parents took me too where i discovered all these things out about my culture, my life, my parents, etc...(btw I'm Laotion, so I guess it helps since so many people have never heard of that ethnicity before...or at least anyone in my area) so yeah I really didn't work too long on my essay...so blah.

The essay isn't that important...it's just for scholarships and stuff. It doesn't play THAT much of a role in the admissions process if at all.

rite, it just happens to be that i am writing the essay for the honors program cuz im hoping to get in

The essay asks how you would benefit and contribute to the Rutgers evironment. Would a "most significant experience" type essay be appropriate for this or does it have to specifically talk about Rutgers?
