<p>Can anyone give me a good "formula" for writing a highscoring ACT essay?</p>

<p>What i do is i take a piece of paper and immediately jotting down ideas (an idea web)</p>
<p>so like pizza

cookies ----- food ---------- sandwhich</p>
<p>yeah, bad example but you get what i mean.</p>
<p>And then i just start expanding on each of those ideas.
I don't know how i would score on a real thing but according to the online one i scored a 12....don't exactly know if it's reliable though.</p>
<p>Question: Is it okay to use "I" in the essay? And if it is okay, is it bad to? Thanks.</p>

<p>Yeah, I is fine. I would be a little cautious about using "you", but that should be okay as well in most cases.</p>
