On the essay is it bad if I only was able to have one sentence in my conclusion. I ran out of time. Will that keep me from getting a 10-12.

conclusions definetly matter a lot. That's what i learned in a PR SAT prep class. But if it was a STRONG sentence... you never know.. And if you had an overall strong essay it might not matter much.

On the contrary, conclusions matter very little...

I took a practice SAT and I didn't write a conclusion and I somehow got a 12... >__> but this is just a practice SAT. And I think it was graded by Kaplan.

no conclusions do matter a lot... I took a class with princeton review and my teacher said that many times graders will not like the essay as much and therefor grade it down if there is no full conclusion or any kind o summation to the essay at all. You have a sentance though.. at least it's SOMETHING to tie up loose ends.

Conclusions are not too important. If your essay was solid, then theres nothing stopping you from getting a top score.
