Essays all on one topic-Good or Bad?

So I am filling out essay/short answers on the Common App, and I wrote all my essays about one topic: my dream of opening a business and the steps I took to it.

My describe extra curricular was about my business internship at a racing company, my actual essay was about what lead to my wanting to open my own business, and my supplement essay was about my academic interests (business) and how I will pursue them. There I talked a bit more about why I Would love to open my business and how that school would be perfect...etc.

Is all this focus on one topic for everything bad? Will it put me off as repetitive? Or will colleges like that because it shows them I am focused on one thing and I know what I want to do in life?

Thank you so much!!

Most likely, it all depends on how you wrote the essays. If you did repeat yourself and made no new points or conclusions in the three essays, that would be bad. However if each new essay elaborated on a new facet of your experience or talked about how your goals for the future have been influenced by your love of racing etc, that would be alright. The essays are you chance to tell the admissions office about you–so if you manage to do so with similar essay topics, that’s alright.
