Have any of you who are applying or did apply in previous years title your $10/most influential class essays?

I'm just wondering because I don't know if I should or shouldn't.

thanks.

Or should I just put my name/ssn and a 1 or 2 to identify the essay?

I'm applying this year. If you think of something creative, you should probably title them. If you can't think of anything good, just use the name of the essay as the title. It's a good idea, from what I hear, to include your name and SSN on everything you submit (maybe every page, if possible).

Ditto to what HiMoz said. Name and SSN (and maybe even HS) is a must on everything you send in. As for a title, only use one if you can think of something really creative or catchy. I think having no title is better than having a mediocre title.

Titles for the essays are optional -- I agree with the idea that add a title if you think of a creative one.

You must though include your Name, Birthdate, and Address when submitting documents - including your essay. The Admissions Office is no longer ussing SSN to track applicants, so this other information will be helpful in putting your application together.

This might be a stupid question, but is a 1000 word essay too long?
