<p>When giving your teachers your college essays for the recommendation letter,
do you show them the essay and short answer just for the common application,
or could you include a short answer to a specific school's supplement as well?
(your specific reasons for wanting to go to that school)</p>

<p>I think more will give them a chance to get to know me better, but on the other hand I'm worried that that'll only burden them with more stuff to read.</p>

<p>usually, teachers ask for a brief resume, not the details on your app (essay, answers,…). at least it is the case at my D’s school.</p>

<p>hm… that’s interesting, my teachers both mentioned a college essay,
but I forgot to ask speicifically about which ones in the rush.</p>

<p>Anyone else? Which/how many essays are you guys planning to show them?</p>
