<p>Hey guys,</p>

<p>I know Wesleyan uses the common app and that they also require a pre-app. Does thta mean Wesleyan only needs one essay (one from common app) ?</p>

<p>I'm currently reading The Gatekeepers and I noticed that admissions officers were reading 2 essays from students. Is the second essay a required supplement or are they just extra pieces of info submitted by students in order to add deeper insight to their character? </p>

<p>There's also another shorter essay (about an extracurricular) in the common app, I believe :)</p>

<p>As madjoy says: there is one real essay (the common app) and then there is also a short paragraph, 50 words or thereabouts, on an extracurricular (or an experience or something). That's it.</p>
