I am in my second year of applying to college - for my first essay, last year’s, I wanted to be an engineer, and it was a failure essay about how I’m a germaphobe and I tried (and failed) so fix a very dirty vacuum. I got a lot of good feedback from admissions readers with that… This year’s is a lot different as I’m kind of a much different person - this year, I’m writing in response to the “background or story” question, but interpreting “story” as books and talking about how I collect books and am influenced by them, etc. I want to be a librarian now.
