I'm at a serious roadblock with my essays. I wrote one good one, but I can't think of topics. What are topics that schools look for or just good topics that I can write a lot about? Even just a tip on writing them, any essay help would be helpful! Thanks!

Do you even know the topics yet? I’m surprised that the schools have their applications up already.

Don’t rush through them! You have PLENTY of time, and don’t try to get them over with. When school starts, I suggest getting in good with an english teacher so you can ask for advice and how to make your essays better. That’s what I did, I contacted my 6th grade English teacher and had him read over them. He really understood me and my style of writing, so even now, years after 6th grade, I still email him all my essays before I turn them in for feedback. It certainly develops you as a writer that way, and you’ll also have the insight from a professional. Good luck on your apps!

It’s August… Don’t applications open in September?

yeah, I’m writing practice ones based on the applications from last year. I just have no clue how to write them!

You might want to consider waiting until the actual ones are up around September. The topics can vary from year to year. Even starting in September would give you plenty of time until the deadline.
