<p>i think they prefer single spaced. try and keep it to one page.</p>
<p>I don't know if they prefer it single or double spaced, but it has to fit in the space they provide (1 page for long, about 1/3 for short).</p>
<p>Single-spaced if fine, but keep your font size reasonable (at least 10).</p>
