<p>Hi, i have actually exceeded all the word limits for the three essays. 280,260 and 560 instead of 250, 250 and 500. i just want to check if it is ok before i start my application?</p>
<p>They aren't limits, they are approximations. It's okay.</p>

<p>All three are fine. It's no big deal, especially in your case. For my common app essay, I went some 200 words over the limit - one common app school already accepted me. I think all my UMich essays were over too.</p>
